Electricity Project Manager

(for mechanical construction)

Tasks

  • Checking plan documents, suggesting improvements where necessary
  • Coordinating approvals with the client
  • Managing projects for halls, manufacturing plants, process facilities, and scheduling the purchase of related materials and equipment
  • Coordinating and monitoring the performance of works contracts, in particular with regard to technical content, economy, deadlines, quality, supplier and subcontractor requirements
  • Effective cooperation with partner departments
  • Reconciliation and monitoring of monthly deliverables (subcontractors, general contractors)
  • Ensuring the effective functioning and full documentation of the project organisation
  • Coordinating the work of subcontractors, project members
  • Organising, participating in and documenting handovers and ceremonies
  • Carrying out and completing tasks assigned by the manager, preparing weekly reports for the manager, other administrative tasks
  • Arranging a transfer to the authorities if necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum vocational technical certificate
  • At least 3 years of experience as a project manager in electrical construction
  • Computer skills (office, scheduling and planning software) to support day-to-day administrative and engineering activities
  • Professional communication skills, written and oral
  • Driving licence category "B", driving experience
  • Strong action
  • Autonomy, taking responsibility and tasks
  • Good technical sense
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office user skills
  • Experience in construction projects

An advantage

  • Practical knowledge of building automation (PLC, field tools, conceptual operation)
  • Experience in building management systems (BMS)
  • FMV eligibility
  • EB (electrical equipment) or EV (contact protection) supervisor qualification
  • Confident knowledge of foreign languages (mainly English or German)
